If you have downloaded the dotPhotoBook software to make a book on your computer, you may want to move the files to another computer. Here is how to find and move all the files associated with your book.

1. Search for the MCF file.

You may have saved your files anywhere on your computer, so your books can be almost anywhere. 

Using the Windows File Explorer, search for *.MCF to find the master file. Once you have found the file matching your book, click once on the file, then right-click for the menu, and choose Open file location.

2. Copy all the files and sub-directories from that location to your new computer.

These files and sub-directories contain all the photos and book-building information for your book.
