dotphoto books can be created online and also on your desktop. The online system and the desktop software both look for your dotphoto account information, but can become confused in some circumstances. Here's how to fix that:

  1. Try signing in with your email address instead of your dotphoto account name. The password remains the same.
  2. If you have created multiple dotphoto accounts, remove the ones you no longer use, or change the email addresses on the other accounts so that your main dotphoto account you are using has a unique email address. You can change email addresses in the MyAccount settings.
  3. Getting a 1004 error?  Try this.
  4. If you are using the online book maker, try signing in through your main dotphoto account at, then tap the Shop button on the left menu stack, and then the Photo Books link under Shop. In a few moments, your online photo book account will load, and your can tap My Projects to see your saved book projects.
