How can I straighten or slightly turn a photo?

Modified on Wed, 18 Jan 2017 at 11:37 PM

dotPhoto's editing tool rotates photos by 90 degrees -- or more with multiple rotations. However, the site does not make small rotations.

For small rotations, we suggest Irfanview, free software that you can download here:  www.irfanview.com

Irfranview handles many useful tasks and competes with photo editors that cost hundreds of dollars.

1.Open the photo, choose Image, and Custom/Fine rotation.

2. Set the angle of rotation, and choose OK.

3. You may want to crop the edges off your photo. To define a rectangle, drag the cursor from one corner to another. Then choose the Edit menu and Cut area outside of selection.

4. Save the photo, and upload it to dotPhoto.
