dotPhoto accounts can have thousands of albums, but, if all albums are listed on the same level, your customers can have a difficult time finding photos, and the account responsiveness can slow down.
We recommend that you organize photos of your events like this:
Year -- Level One
Months -- Sub-Albums of Years
Events -- Sub-Albums of Months
You will find the ability to create sub-albums in the Organize tab on the left.
If you already have an account with hundreds or thousands of albums, we can run a procedure that will organize your photos according to the structure above. All passwords and associated attributes will remain intact.
To run the procedure, please write to albumreorg@dotphoto.com and request that dotPhoto run the Year / Month / Events album re-organization.
